Abstract
A specially fabricated microchannel plate (MCP) has been successfully appli ed to a field emission display (FED) to obtain a bright moving picture, whe re the FED is operated by line-by-line addressing in the driving circuit. T he anode brightness is about three times higher with an MCP, which also sho ws current stability.
