GANGLION CYST COMMUNICATING WITH THE ELBOW JOINT PRESENTING AS A DISTAL FOREARM TUMOR

A man presented with a large tumour in the distal, ulnar part of the r ight forearm and intermittent dysfunction of the ulnar nerve. Further examination revealed a benign ganglion cyst communicating with the elb ow joint. The cyst was removed together with affected periosteum and t he joint capsule was repaired. No recurrence has been observed 30 mont hs later.
