Abstract
Experimental isothermal P-x data at T = 313.15K for the ternary system (di- isopropyl ether (DIPE) + n-heptane + benzene) and for one of the previously unmeasured constituent binary systems, (DIPE + n-heptane), are reported. D ata reduction by Barker's method provides correlations for g(E) using the M argules equation for the binary systems and the Wohl expansion for the tern ary system. Wilson, NRTL and UNIQUAC models have been applied successfully to both the binary and the ternary systems. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
