An algorithm that makes it possible to improve the accuracy in calculating
ionospheric electric fields and currents has been described. A data set tha
t includes ground-based magnetic measurements at stations within the locali
zed testing site and radar and satellite measurements of electric and magne
tic fields is used as the input parameters. A model of the ionospheric elec
tric conductivity taking into account the peculiarities related to the calc
ulation of electric fields and currents at a testing site has been proposed
