The paper deals with inverse identification problems for anisotropic m
edia when measured data are given in the interior of the domain. In co
mparison with identification problems for isotropic media they have so
me special features. For the anisotropic problems it is necessary to d
etermine more coefficients of governing differential equations than ti
e number of equations. Thus for their determination we need data from
more states, which cannot be chosen arbitrarily. The necessity of more
input states brings into the analysis of the inverse problems for ani
sotropic media new theoretical problems. We derive the condition of op
eratorwise independence which is the condition of determinativeness of
the solution.
