Abstract
Basic theoretical models for thermally stimulated relaxation phenomena, due to the many parameters involved, are usually too complex to be applied to the analysis of experimental data. Since many years, the general order kine tics (GOK) model was used as a 'first approach' analysis of thermoluminesce nce (TL) glow curves. In this paper similar equations are derived for therm ally stimulated current (Tsc) measurements. The new formula has approximate ly the same range of applicability as the GOK model for TL, but depends on more parameters.
