The chemical and amino acid composition and energy value of grain of the na
ked oat cultivars Akr and STH 296 were determined. Lysine was the amino aci
d limiting the nutritional value of protein (CS) in both cultivars. EAAl an
d the total amino acid content in protein were higher in cv. Akt than in ST
H 296. The concentration of metabolizable energy (for pigs) was high and eq
