Abstract
One new withanolide (1) has been isolated from the methanolic extract of Aj
uga parviflora. Its structure was established as 3 beta, 14 alpha, 17 beta,
20, 28-pentahydroxy-1-oxo-(20R, 22R) witha-5,24-dienolide (1) on the hash
of spectroscopic data including two-dimensional NMR techniques. Another wit
hanolide coagulin-J and pyrrolizidine alkaloid lagularinine have also been
reported for the first time from A. parviflora.
