Abstract
Single crystals of [Cu(en)(2)(OH2)](2)[H(2)en][{Cu(en)(2)}P2CuW17O61]. 5H(2 )O 1, [Cu(en)(2)(OH2)](2)[Cu(en)(2)](0.5)[H(2)en](0.5)[{Cu(en)(2)}P2CuW17O6 1]. 5H(2)O 2 and [Co(dpa)(2)(OH2)(2)](2)[Hdpa][PCoW11O39] 3 (dpa = di-2-pyr idylamine) have been hydrothermally synthesized and characterized by IR, TG A and single-crystal structural analysis. Compounds 1 and 2 contain an unpr ecedented chain of Dawson polyoxoanions, whereas 3 has a chain structure si milar to that of [NEt3H](5)[XCoW11O39], (X = P or As).
