Abstract
The activity of inorganic substrates in the catalysed nucleation of polymer melts was studied using a nonisothermal differential scanning calorimetry technique (DSC). The analysis of the results was made by using the method d eveloped by Dobreva-Veleva et al.(1)). In this method the kinetics of nonis othermal overall crystallisation of polymers was analysed in terms of the g eneral non steady state nucleation theory at small undercooloings. Two exam ples of the applicability of this method are presented.
