Abstract
Recent advances in the fluoride ion mediated reactions of silanes containin g SI-H, Si-C, Si-O, Si-N, Si-Si, Si-Ge and Si-Sn bonds are described. Appli cation of fluoride ion activation of silicon bonds in the syntheses of diff erent types of organic compounds is discussed. The literature data publishe d from January 1994 to December 2000 are included in this review.
