Abstract
The different positional isomers of beta-substituted iii and trinitrot raphenylporphyrins exhibit specific photophysical properties. All the nitroporphyrins display significant excited singlet state intramolecul ar charge transfer arising from partial rotation of the nitro group. ( C) 1997 Published by Elsevier Science B.V.
