Abstract
Electromasstransfer in narrow channels formed by flat metallic electrodes o r ion-exchange membranes is studied. In the former case, the channels are f illed with nickel or polyethylene granules; in the latter, with a monolayer of ionites AV-17 and KU-2. The mass transfer enhancement at the expense of a decrease in the diffusion layer thickness and the development of the mas s transfer surface area is discussed.
