Abstract
The author presents a structured protocol for resolving repressed, sup pressed or otherwise dated affect using ideomotor questioning. Essenti al to this model is a progressive ratification series which addresses affect, cognition and behavior. A questioning tree illustrates the met hod of affect inquiry and case examples demonstrate its application. T his non-invasive, brief procedure is a useful adjunct to other treatme nt modalities and instrumental in clarifying the focus of treatment.
