Abstract
Palladium-catalyzed asymmetric allylic alkylation of 1,3-diphenyl-2-propeny l acetate (8a) with a dimethyl malonate-BSA-LiOAc system has bren successfu lly carried out in the presence ol novel chiral phosphine-oxazinane ligands such as 5b in good yields with good enantioselectivities (up to 95% eel.
