Abstract
This paper describes 29 novel HLA-B locus alleles identified during low-res olution typing. The majority of the novel alleles carry new patterns of pre viously known polymorphic motifs or codons. Three alleles carry alterations in the Bw4/Bw6 epitope. Five alleles carry novel substitutions.
