Abstract
Propagation of SH waves in a layered half-space with periodic cracks is inv estigated. Fourier series technique is applied to formulate the mixed bound ary-value problem in terms of a Hilbert singular integral equation. The dyn amic stress intensity factors (DSIFs) are presented. The resonance characte ristics of the DSIF are discussed.
