We analyze the BOOMERANG and MAXIMA results in the context of simplest infl
ationary universes verses: Omega (Total) = 1, n(s) similar or equal to 1. W
e attempt to constrain three other parameters-h, Omega (B), and Omega (m)-f
rom these observations. We show that (1) the data are consistent with the v
alues of Omega (m) and h inferred from other observations and (2) the value
of Omega (B)h(2) is too high to be compatible with big bang nucleosynthesi
s observations at the 2 sigma level for n(s) = 1. We also include two cosmi
c background imager (CBI) band powers in our analysis. However, the inclusi
on of CBI band powers doesn't affect our conclusions.
