Abstract
The (2)Sigma (+) and (2)Pi states of MgO- and the (1)Sigma (+), (1)Pi, and (3)Pi states of MgO are studied using the ACPF approach. The computed spect roscopic constants are in good agreement with the available experimental. d ata. The computed Franck-Condon factors and photodetachment overlaps are co mpared with experiment.
