Abstract
The author's 15 years experience with round implants for breast augmentatio n includes experience with round, smooth silicone gel filled implants durin g the 1980s before the FDA moratorium, and experience with round, smooth sa line implants from 1991 to the present. This discussion summarizes the auth or's personal experience with these devices and his preferences for using t hese types of devices in his clinical practice.
