We have presented in the first part of this work (denoted by Part I) a stud
y of the oscillation of a small charge separation at a plasma edge. In view
of the sensitivity of this problem, this paper presents results obtained u
sing two other methods recently published for the solution of the kinetic V
lasov equation, namely the cubic interpolation propagator method, and the f
lux conserving scheme method. For the problem we are studying both methods
show the presence of important numerical diffusion compared to the results
