Abstract
This review will highlight recent developments in methods for scale-up of m ulti-phase flow in porous media. Scale-up is a necessary step when going fr om multi-million cell geostatistical models to reservoir simulation models. Multi-phase scale-up methods available include steady state methods as wel l as dynamic methods, along with recent developments which may remove the n eed for scale-up as an activity separate from simulation.
