Some properties of small sodium clusters, comprising up to 35 atoms, are de
scribed using a projected spherical single particle basis. The variation of
the cluster shape and inner density with the number uf atoms is: studied.
Seemingly chestnut, clusterization and halo like structures are identified
for several metallic clusters. Static polarizabilities and plasmon frequenc
ies: are calculated and compared with experimental data and with results ob
tained in different approaches.
