Abstract
The photogalvanic effect in a two-dimensional, weakly absorbing Dykhne medium without an inversion center is studied. It is shown that a gia nt enhancement of the effective photovoltaic coefficient occurs as a r esult of the divergence of the mean-square modulus of the electric fie ld.
