Abstract
As part of continuing studies on drug delivery to the human liver, a phosph onoacetate-trilactoside conjugate (12) has been synthesized in an overall y ield of 23%. The shortness of the synthesis of this conjugate hinges upon a successful Michaelis-Arbuzov reaction of bromoacetamide 8 with tris(trimet hylsilyl) phosphite.
