Abstract
The parameters which influence the quaternization reaction of some N,N-dime thylalkylamines of RN(CH3)(2), type (R=octyl, decyl, dodecyl, tetradecyl an d hexadecyl) with benzyl chloride were studied. By thermogravimetric analys es, the kinetic parameters, the reaction order, "n", and the activation ene rgy, "Ea", of the thermal decomposition of the quaternary salts prepared in this study, were established.
