Abstract
1-Methyl and 1-benzyl 3,5-bis(omega -haloalkyl) isocyanurates were reacted with thiourea to obtain 1-methyl and 1-benzyl 3,5-bis[omega-[amino(imino)me thylmercapto]alkyl] isocyanurates, respectively. Hydrolysis of the latter g ave the corresponding 3,5-bis(omega -mercaproalkyl) izocyanurates.
