Abstract
All 26 names of species and infraspecific taxa included in Zahlbruckner's C atalogus and applicable to Erioderma are listed and typified with comments on their taxonomy and distribution. The author recognises only 10 of the 17 species accepted by Zahlbruckner, but also indicates the existence of more than 10 undescribed species, mainly in South America. One new combination E. leylandii subsp. velligerum (Tuck.) P.M. Jorg. (= E. chilense Mont.) is made.
