Abstract
p-Hydroxyphenyl menthyl sulfinate was readily linked to Wang resin. The res ulting sulfinate reacted with Grignard reagents and potassium or lithium en olates to give the corresponding sulfoxides or beta -ketosulfoxides allowin g a study of the chemistry or sulfoxides for solid phase synthesis.
