Abstract
We have measured, using electron spectroscopy, the lowest-energy doubl y hollow lithium triply excited (3l3l'3l '') P-2 state. Energies, widt hs, and partial cross sections have been measured and calculated using the saddle-point technique and the R-matrix approximation. Our result s show good agreement between experimental and theoretical data for th e energy and the width of the doubly hollow state.
