Abstract
Trospium chloride (TCL), a quaternary ammonium derivative of nortropanol, h as been evaluated in a number of clinical and pharmacological studies. Sele cted pharmacological and clinical pharmacokinetic data are discussed as pro viding a basis for a better interpretation and understanding of the clinica l trial results. An overview of the results of 20 clinical trials and post- marketing surveillance studies including more than 10 000 patients is prese nted.
