Abstract
In 18 patients the perfusion of a malignant head and neck tumour was e stimated using contrast enhanced dynamic computed tomography. The mean estimated perfusion was 75.5 ml/100 g/min, varying between 27.9 and 1 31.9. Eleven patients were heated with radiation therapy; the obtained perfusion rates were significantly different between tumours with a f avourable and those with an unfavourable early outcome.
