Abstract
The inhibiting action of heterobicyclic systems (HBCS) containing imid azole fragments was studied as a function of the size of the nitrogen- containing cycle (C-4-C-6). We show that the HBCS with a 7-member cycl e (azepinium) has the highest protecting efficiency. The results are t reated from the viewpoint of the J-and F-stress concept.
