Inappropriate sinus tachycardia is an uncommon clinical problem that m
ay be refractory to medical management. It has been described after ra
diofrequency ablation of other supraventricular tachycardias. We descr
ibe a case of successful ablation of inappropriate sinus tachycardia t
hat occurred late after ablation of the slow pathway for atrioventricu
lar (AV) nodal reentrant tachycardia. Markers for successful ablation,
as well as potential complications of this procedure, are discussed.
