Abstract
A basal defined medium was developed for production of FH-506, a novel immunosuppressant, by Streptomyces sp. MA6858 (ATCC 55098) involving lactate, leucine, glucose, phosphate, etc, and the actions of differen t medium constituents on growth and production were examined.
