Abstract
Two enantiopure pipecolic acid derivatives having an olefinic moiety w ere synthesized from an intramolecular addition of allyl silanes on an iminium double bond. The iminium moiety was generated via a reaction of chiral beta-amino alcohols with glyoxal.
