Abstract
The aim of this Note is to study the existence and the distribution of resonances associated with the Maxwell system in an infinite periodic structure. By boundary integral operators method, we reduce the probl em to the existence and the distribution of the characteristic values of a family of periodic non-self adjoint integral operators; the distr ibution of resonances is thus completely determined.
