Abstract
We consider in this Note the time-dependent equations for a charged ga s or fluid consisting of several components exposed to an electric fie ld. The existence of weak solutions is proved. The key of the proof is a transformation of the problem by using the entropic variables, whic h symmetrizes the equations, and a priori estimates obtained by using the entropy function.
