Abstract
A method of determination of the Young's and shear complex moduli of v iscoelastic materials using a transmissibility function is presented. The experimental set-up shows that it is possible to evaluate both mod uli on the same samples. We will show that, with appropriate inverse m ethods, isothermal complex moduli are obtained over a large range of f requencies. (C) 1997 Academic Press Limited.
