Abstract
Problems in fermion models on the lattice are discussed. A general pro cedure which allows to remove fermion doubling preserving gauge invari ance in anomaly free chiral models on the lattice is presented. A repr esentation of fermion determinant as a path integral of bosonic effect ive action is constructed.
