A new method is proposed to extract U(J) from magnetic relaxation expe
riments. By utilizing a linear relation between U(J) and kT In(1 + t/t
(0)) we are able to derive the current density dependence of the effec
tive activation energy and the time scales. The relation between the m
aster curve and U(J) is discussed. It is shown that a monotonically de
creasing U(J) curve can be constructed with several master curves at d
ifferent temperatures.
