Abstract
Organic acids might contribute to corrosion phenomena observed in stea m generators of nuclear power systems. Effects of organic acids on the corrosion behaviour of alloys for heat transfer tuber have so far not been investigated in detail. A research programme has, therefore, bee n launched, on the role of organic acids as regards dissolution and pa ssivation of nickel and its alloys. The following work represents a pa rt of this programme.
