A 35-year-old woman with clinical features of Budd-Chiari syndrome is
presented. Abdominal ultrasonography, computed tomography, and venogra
phy disclosed that the venous congestion in this patient resulted from
complex venous anomalies including azygos-hemiazygos continuation, ab
sent superior hepatic veins, and retroaortic transposition of the left
renal vein.
