Abstract
Around 60% of all dyed fibre and yam is produced in package dyeing mac hines. It is therefore important to look at their design and operation in the light of the experience of similar processes in the chemical a nd process industries. This article tries to merge current research id eas on the dynamic on-line control of package dyeing machinery with pr actical observations and industrial experience.
