Fonsc., Hyalopterus pruni (Geoffroy), Melanaphis sacchari ( Zehnter), Rhopalosiphum maidis(Fitch), Schizaphis graminum (Rondani), Acrythosiphon pisum (Harris), Brevicoryne brassicae (Linnaeus), Lipaph is erysimi (Kaltenbach), Macrosiphoniella sanborni(Gillette), Macrosip hum miscanthi Takahashi, Myzus persicae (Sulzer), and Greenidea formos nana heeri Raychaudhuri et al. Among these, half of the species viz., A. craccovora, A. gossypii, M, sacchari, R. maidis, S, graminum, L. er ysimi, M. miscanthi and M. persicae were found abundantly in most of t he localities and may be considered as pest. Out of the above, A. crac civora, A. gossypii, R, maidisand L. erysimiseverely infested Dolichos lablab, Lagenaria vulgaris, Pennisetum glaucum and Brassica campestri s, respectively. Two species of hyperparasitoids viz., Alloxysta pleurali s (Cameron) and Phaenoglyphis sp. were recorded on T. indicusonly.
