Abstract
The characterization of ice 1 h single crystal surfaces has been perfo rmed by means of X-ray scattering under grazing incidence conditions u sing synchrotron radiation. We report exit-angle profiles of evanescen t Bragg reflections as observed under various angles of glancing incid ence, in-plane rocking curves and specular reflection profiles on pris m [h0.0] and [hh.0] vicinal surfaces. The measured intensities are com pared with models in the framework of the distorted wave Born approxim ation.
