Abstract
Experimental data are presented for an Fe-Al neutron polarizing superm irror on a Si crystal substrate with an antireflecting Cd layer. The p olarizing efficiency of this supermirror is P greater-than-or-equal-to 0.8 for the range of glancing angles theta/lambda = 0.25-1.7-degrees/ nm and P greater-than-or-equal-to 0.95 for theta/lambda = 0.34-1.7-deg rees/nm. Some applications of this supermirror for thermal and cold ne utrons are considered.
