Primary pancreatic non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL) is rare and accounts f
or less than 1% of all lymphomas. The development of NHL following tra
nsplant is well recognized. However, there are no previous reports on
localized lymphomatous pancreatic involvement in a transplant patient.
We report on the first case of primary pancreatic NHL developing in a
renal transplant recipient. The patient was treated without reducing
immunosuppression and received combination chemotherapy and radiation.
The patient is in complete remission at 10-month follow-up.
