A uniaxial bianisotropic semiconductor material is proposed, where the
diffusion process of a free carrier and effects of uniaxial bianisotr
opy are taken into account in the constitutive relations. Based on the
concept of spectral eigenwaves, Green dyadics and field representatio
ns in this class of material are developed in terms of cylindrical vec
tor wave functions. The analysis indicates that solutions of the Maxwe
ll equations in a uniaxial bianisotropic semiconductor are composed of
three eigenwaves traveling with different velocity, and each of them
is composed of two transverse and one longitudinal waves.
