Jj. Allan et al., SPONTANEOUS ECHOCARDIOGRAPHIC CONTRAST IN THE TRUE LUMEN OF A DISSECTED AORTIC-ANEURYSM, Journal of the American Society of Echocardiography, 10(6), 1997, pp. 673-676
Spontaneous echocardiographic contrast may be seen in the false and tr
ue lumens of dissecting aortic aneurysms. Using transesophageal echoca
rdiography, we identified the false lumen as the source of spontaneous
echocardiographic contrast in the true lumen of a patient with an aor
tic dissection.
